The Brewers’ Star (Hviezda sládkov) is a certificate awarded to establishments that consistently meet high standards of draft beer care. Pilsner Urquell Slovakia’s quality assurance program evaluates the quality of the pour, the cleanliness of the beer lines, proper storage, the technical condition of the tap system, and the staff’s overall approach to serving beer.

At Rumanka, we serve authentic Czech Pilsner Urquell lager, and we want every beer to be poured at the highest quality – just as the brewers in Plzeň intended.

The Brewers’ Star award is confirmation for us that we devote the utmost attention to beer, from the correct temperature and sanitation of the equipment to the method of pouring and service.

How do we take care of the beer?

• we clean and sanitize the beer lines regularly,
• kegs are stored at a controlled temperature, because the beer simply requires it,
• we regularly train our staff and teach them how to pour properly,
• every glass tastes just as good, regardless of the day or time,
• experts from Prazdroj regularly inspect us, and we take their feedback seriously.

Good beer is made only the brewery, but a huge part of the result comes from our care. If you haven’t yet had a perfectly poured Pilsner, now is the perfect time to fix that.
